I’m Irwin, retired, living with my wife Dolly, in a 55+ retirement community. I set up my own blog with two thoughts in mind – one to share our retirement experience with others seeking a retirement where they can not only be physically active, mentally challenged, but also emotionally satisfied, and two to rant and rave on occasion about anything that crosses my mind that I feel I need to vent about.
Actually, what I try my best to do is seek out and write about wild and crazy stuff, anything to make us laugh especially now during our time of self-isolation. So, every now and then – if for no other reason to see if I posted something like a “wild and Crazy Guy” might do, stop by and hopefully you will go away laughing or at least smiling.

Sue: Thanks for your comments. We recently shared 53 years of married life and also attended her high school reunion of 60 years. We are glad we attended because at the dinner they announced it would be the last one. At the moment we are on yet another adventure in the Pocono mountains.

I think the problem is you have your About page as your “static page”…. when you hit Customize, it’ll take you to some options, at the bottom, there will be an option to make your Front Page static, or your most recent posts. If you want your About page to be the static page, you have to assign a new page for your blog posts, and also make sure that page is included in your menu bar at the top. 🙂

It seems we have much in common in terms of attitude towards retirement – although I am much earlier into the retirement journey than you are. I think of it as my new chapter, and it’s still being written!

Such a rarity in today’s ‘disposable-relationship’ world. Very elated for you both. Keep on, keeping on, loving your new life together. As for retirement….. I do not understand why anyone would want to retire…. I mean, who would want to be ‘tired’ over and over and over? Obviously the two of you do not. 😀
